The ARI Navigation Part Task Trainer is a modular
and scalable solution comprising Navigation Simulation software
and hardware to create a realistic bridge environment. The ARI
Navigation Part Task Trainer
is highly flexible, and can be used in numerous configurations including
a stand-alone bridge, interactive multi-bridges, with/without hardware
or with/without visualizations, depending on the training objectives
of the client.
The Simulator is extremely scalable, enabling clients to begin with
a desktop solution and grow the simulator into its largest possible
configuration by adding hardware and software at appropriate intervals.

 |
Hardware
The hardware consists of a steering wheel, telegraph, thrusters,
Engine Control Panel, Engine Alarm panel, fog horns, navigation
light controls (optional), christmas tree (optional), simulated VHF (optional), and Communication
a Console (optional).
Interfacing with real shipboard equipment is possible.

|
Software
The Navigation Simulation software includes an Instructor station,
Radar/ARPA,
ECDIS, Conning Display, Own Ship controls, and
Navigation Aids (GPS, Doppler, Echo Sounder, Course Recorder,
Mooring/Anchoring Panel, Loran-C (optional)).

Table A-II/1.2: Maintain a safe navigational watch.
3.
Table A-II/1.3: Use of Radar and ARPA to maintain safety of navigation.
4.
Table A-II/1.5: Respond to a distress signal at sea.
5.
Table A-II/2.1: Plan a voyage and conduct navigation.
6.
Table A-II/2.2 Determine position and the accuracy of resultant
position fix by any means.
7.
Table A-II/2.4 Co-ordinate search and rescue operations.
8.
Table A-II/2.5 Establish watch-keeping arrangements and procedures.
